About The Work–––––––––––––––––––––
My work is all about an exploration of form, space and feeling. I interpret my surroundings and personal experiences by overlapping both expressive and rigid marks based on what I'm viewing and feeling while creating. Each mark represents a specific moment, or objective fragment that allows the composition of each piece to flow, while also leaving plenty of room for negative space. I think there's something to be said about those moments of pause. Ultimately, each of my pieces seeks to find balance between what's visible and what's not so visible.
